The upper level of Sleeping Bear Lodge showcases a modern open concept floorplan with a fully equipped kitchen and bar, a spacious family room with fireplace (double bed couch), and an office space, as well as a master bedroom (king-sized bed) with in-suite spacious bathroom, a guest bedroom (queen size bed + a single size bed), a guest bathroom, and a laundry room (washer and dryer machines). The large outdoor wooden deck (with grill) gives you access to an amazing view of the lake and its surrounding area.

The walk-out lower level includes an attached garage, a recreation room with pool table and TV, a second guest bathroom, and a 7-person bunk room  (2 single-sized bunks and a full-sized bottom bunk with twin above). From this level, walk directly outside to a covered patio, the fire pit (marshmallows, anyone?!) and the lakeshore.

Having breakfast on the deck while listening to the birds tweeting in the nearby trees, or watching the deer across the lake or an eagle diving in the lake to catch a fish are just some of the unforgettable moments you will experience during your stay at Sleeping Bear Lodge.

The 5-acre lake offers a floating fishing dock and more than 150 feet of gently sloping sand beach shoreline for the kids to play. Annually stocked, the lake is full of edible rainbow trout and panfish. Alongside the lake, in the shed, you will find everything you need for a fun aquatic day... paddleboat, canoes, kayaks, jon boat (all solely for use on SBL property only), and much more. But safety first! We also have available plenty of youth and adult life vests.  Additional sit on top kayaks are available for use on the local water ways.

Not into water stuff? No worries, we have you covered! Our more than 500 acres of forest preserve and 8 miles of private trails with access to public trails, will offer plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities. Whether you are into hiking, biking, photography, writing, target shooting (we have a private shooting range within our property), or simply just relaxing, Sleeping Bear Lodge is the perfect place for your family vacation or friend getaway.

Ski-Out 6+ miles of groomed private XC ski trails, starting right from the lodge door. Rolling, scenic trails thru 500 acres of mature forest with lots of wildlife.

Sleeping Bear Lodge is located in the heart of unspoiled forest in Florence County, WI, on the border of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, equidistant from Lake Michigan's Big Bay Du Noc and Lake Superior's Keeweenaw. 

3 of 4 Wisconsin Wild Rivers (Pine, Popple, Peshtigo), as well as several lakes and many scenic falls, are all within a 20-minute drive. Lakes Michigan and Superior are both within 75 minutes. Nearby Iron Mountain, Michigan offers restaurants and amenities. Visit several casinos within an hour's drive...  or just close the gate and experience uninterrupted serenity.
